About Dr. Swanson
Dr. Swanson embraces the opportunity to relieve any potential fear that children may have toward dentists and enjoys being able to alleviate their pain.
To her, the most rewarding thing about this profession is watching children grow up and feel like she’s a positive part of her patients’ lives. Every patient is unique, and she wants every child to feel like they’re a part of the family.

Education
Dr. Swanson earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in bioinformatics from Mississippi Valley State University. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.
Certifications
Dr. Swanson is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Texas Dental Association.
Outside of Work
When she’s not at work, Dr. Swanson enjoys spending time with her family, as well as coaching and playing soccer. She has played division 1 and semi-professional soccer, she has twins, and she loves kung fu movies.
